Selected composers will participate in digital and in-person workshop leading up to a final world premiere performance in winter 2022.

STEP 01

DIGITAL WORKSHOP

April 24, 2022 at 3 pm (CET) (via Zoom)

Composers meet Trio Estatico online and be introduced to the workshop structure. Trio Estatico members will each discuss a specific topic relates to composition for viola, followed by Q&A.

WORKING PERIOD 1

April - June 2022

Each Composer have a Primary Contact.

(Setting meetings or email exchanges, composer will work individually with member of Trio Estatico)​

STEP 03

TRY-OUT SESSION

June 16 and 17, 2022 Frankfurt am Main, Germany

(in person or via Zoom)

Trio Estatico will meet and work directly with each composer on their prepared materials. Composers will prepare with sketches, ideas, or drafts of their  compositions. The goal of these sessions are to try out and explore  ideas collaboratively with the musicians of Trio Estatico.
