STEP 03
TRY-OUT SESSION
27. and 28. August 2021 Frankfurt am Main
Trio Estatico (Paul Beckett and Megumi Kasakawa) will meet in Frankfurt and work directly with each composer on their prepared materials. Composers will prepare with sketches, ideas, or drafts of their compositions. The goal of these sessions are to try out and explore ideas collaboratively with the musicians of Trio Estatico.

FINAL RECORDING
16. & 17. October 2021
13. & 14. November 2021
Trio Estatico will meet in the fall to perform and/or record the final works (depending on conditions). Each composer will be limited to about 5 minutes due to the number of participating composers. Composers are encouraged to try and keep their pieces to 5 minutes in length; however, if a participating composer writes a piece that is longer than 5 minutes, we will work with those composers to select a 5 minute excerpt.
